ABACS is offering rewarding opportunities for Instructor Therapists (IT). In this role, you will work directly with children with autism in a center-based setting, providing one-on-one and small group support while delivering individualized programs tailored to each child’s needs.

Part-time or full-time with the opportunity for flexible schedule following training.
ABACS is open Monday to Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm. The successful applicant must be available to work during these hours.
Instructor Therapist Role Overview!
The Instructor Therapist role demands energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work closely with children with autism to support their individualized goals. This hands-on position also requires physical tasks and active engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 services and small groups using evidence-based teaching methods

Manage personal care and engage in daily interactions with children

Prepare and follow individualized programming materials

Collect data, monitor progress, and update client programs

Communicate daily with parents/guardians (written and oral)

Perform daily cleaning and organizational tasks
Qualifications

Previous experience is an asset; training is provided

Special consideration for degrees or diplomas in related fields (e.g., Kinesiology, Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Work)

Outgoing, energetic, dependable, and organized

Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an asset
